ABOUT ME:

We have apparently been disqualified from this competition, as we received multiple votes from somebody using a 'dynamic IP address' (possibly a well-meaning friend or over-zealous 'fan'). This was nothing to do with (or even known about by) the band, and it's really irritating to keep getting abusive messages from people who are noticeably friends with the other bands in the competition, when the issue in question was through no fault of our own. We entered this competition with an open mind, hoping to gain a little exposure for our music and see how we fared, as did most of the other bands I expect. Sorry for any anger this person has caused. All the best everyone half-light

half-light	11 May, 2007 12:28 We are absolutely gutted to seemingly have been disqualified through no fault of our own, and really want to know who 'stupid' is right now; only hope they have the decency to come clean. We wish the very best of luck to everyone else in a great competition that we are regrettably no longer part of.

stupid	11 May, 2007 07:54 I have temporarily signed up for this site to offer my sincerest apologies to the organisers of this competition, but most especially to half-light, for posting all these votes. I have no excuse to offer but drunken enthusiasm and a desire to see my friends succeed. In the cold and sober light of day I can see what a stupid, transparent and deceitful thing it was to do, and my main reason for owning up is to stress that the members of half light had no knowledge of this and were not party to it in any way. Now, it seems that they have been disqualified and I have probably lost at least three good friends, probably more. I am so sorry guys!

Do you really think that they're not gonna notice that you cheated and disqualify you for trying to undermine their competition? I suppose I admire your determination..your finger must be half gone by now!
