PLANETNOTION TELEVISION!
CAMERA-FOLK AND FILM EDITORS WANTED!
Planet Notion is looking for guys and dolls to film and edit features for its new TV channel, PNTV. Accompanying Notion to artist interviews, gigs, fashion shows, festivals and international events, you will be skilled, passionate and full of ideas about how to produce shit-hot video content. Camera-folk will be experienced and ideally have their own equipment, or at least access to equipment, while editors must be able to turn projects around quickly, and with stylistic flare. If you can both film and edit content, we would especially like to hear from you! These casual, unpaid positions would be ideal for those looking to develop their showreels, and to get the chance to travel, film major artists and top events.

Please email lucy(at)musichqmedia

SATURDAY 17 MARCH: There are further kinky goings on to look forwards to in March as the guys return to the heart of London for some more superlative action! It's the residency that has got everyone talking and since the birthday in October the parties have just got better and better. Now with an established vibe, Turnmills has become the epicentre of Kinky Malinki’s UK operations, and from its initial infancy the flavour of these nights has began to settle - still with the sexy, glamorous side but also developing an edgier undercurrent. The KM guys have begun to experiment with bookings and May's gig really is looking like the most creative yet. But first, March 17 at Turnmills sees headliner Jonathan Ulysses spin his blend of upbeat tribal percussion with a funky and Balearic twist keeps the most sophisticated of clubbers at fever pitch for hours on end. His talents have led him to entertain some of the sexiest crowds at some of the sexiest clubs on the face of the planet from Pacha to Miss Moneypennys. This is also a chance to catch Company Magazine competition winner Miss Mindy who will be warming the party up with her energetic and funked up house music alongside headliners Grant Nelson, Mark Robinson and Kinky Malinki residents. FRIDAY 2 MARCH : Brighton eh? Pebbly coastline, big pier, ice cream, donkey rides - what more could you want? Well how about the launch of Shake at the swanky new Sky Bar? Banish thoughts of bizarre 1950s type holiday experiences with a new night aimed squarely at lovers of disco and soulful house, for those who enjoy their clubbing with less sweat and more style - surely that's a sign of getting old? Anyway, the press release says that the Sky Bar is ‘one of the most sociable, friendly and glamorous bars in Brighton,'with a 'brushed aluminium bar reaching the whole length of the room' - so you can expect to see a few Brighton &Hove players acting all P Diddy in there. Musically however, the launch party features the wonderful Sarah Foote, spinning house and disco classics, with local hero K Sinclair headlining. SHAKE SKY BAR, MEETING HOUSE LANE, BRIGHTON, BN1 FRIDAY 2ND MARCH DOORS: 9PM – 3AM Free entry!

SATURDAY 3 MARCH: This Saturday's Fabric is spoiling all you clubbers with special sets from Luciano and Henrik Schwarz! As a purveyor of that deep minimal sound we fell in love with last summer, Chilean Luciano comes armed with a box of tunes to melt Room One. Famed for his appearances at the legendary DC10 in Ibiza, he comes to London for one hell of a rave alongside regular Fabric man Craig Richards and the hotly tipped Kode 9. German Henrik Schwarz gets set to fill Room Three with his distinct flavour of jazzy, soulful, deep house. Having gained quite a following as being quite a whiz with his live laptop sessions, he should keep everyone dancing right up until closing time. Better practice your croaky voice - you’ll be ringing your boss on Monday morning full of excuses! Fabric Saturday 3 March ROOM ONE: Luciano, Craig Richards, Rhythm & Sound feat MC Tikiman, Kode 9 ROOM TWO: Terry Francis, Anthony Rother (LIVE), Mike Shannon ROOM THREE: Henrik Schwarz (LIVE), Trickski, Rob Summerhayes 10pm - 9am £16/£12 (NUS/Fabric First Members) 77a Charterhouse St, London, EC1 www.fabriclondon.com
