Noel revealed the details on Saturday, during an interview with Russell Brand on the comedians Radio 2 show. When pressed for an exact date, Noel refused to comment, explaining that his manager would be unhappy and that it could hinder the release date.
Earlier in the month three unheard Oasis tracks - Stop The Clocks, I Wanna Live A Dream (In My Record Machine), and Nothing on Me, were leaked onto the internet.
Oasis’ management claimed that the songs were ‘old’ and refused to reveal whether they’d appear on the new album - recorded at Abbey Road studios in December.
In other news, Oasis recently appointed Robbie Williams’ drummer Chris Sharrock as a replacement for Zac Starkey, after allegedly sacking their former drummer, the son of Ringo Starr. |
